Last week I’ve been in Zurich and Konstanz. There I had two missions: (1) attending a ‘Day Trading Seminar’ (3 days) and (2) visiting friends and universities.
1.Day Trading Seminar.
In this seminar we learned how to use a Day Trading tool and some trading strategies. The basic idea is to use mathematical models for automatic stock price analysis in combination with an automatic portfolio management. Of course, you might never understand the whole complexity of the stock market, but if you know some dependencies and have the right strategies you can make some serious money.
2.Visiting Friends and Universities.
In Zurich, I staid with an old friend from Dresden. We always met in the afternoon and got drunk which was funny but also quite expensive.
I also went to the ETH Zurich in order to talk to a PhD student about my diploma thesis and check out the main building which was build by G. Semper. Both were very interesting and I wished I had more time.
The trip to Konstanz turned out to be real fun as well. I met two good friends from Dresden and saw some familiar faces. While the University of Konstanz is much smaller than the TU Dresden or ETH it seemed to be the ideal place for a relaxed study or research life, especially the cafeteria with its impressive view on the lake Konstanz.
On my way back to Dresden, I had to reschedule a meeting. Thus, I had time to visited also Stephan Hermann (OT/J) in its office. We discussed a small scenario and how to use Roles and Collaborations. Unfortunately, we did not have very much time but I believe I got a very good impression of his understanding of Roles and Collaborations.
In conclusion, this week brought a lot new insights about money management, universities, and Role modeling concepts.
